Leggo Member Simon "siac0" Watt
June 8, 2010
Longtime Leggo member and blogger Simon "siac0" Watt wins event #11 at this year's World Series of Poker. The $1500 buy in No-Limit Hold 'em event attracted 2,563 people.
Winning in such a large field is quite the accomplishment to begin with, but the spectacle that surrounded this event was nosebleed poker player Tom Dwan, also known as "Durrrr," who Simon beat heads up. Durrrr is rumored to win nearly $8m if he wins a bracelet-- but he comes up empty with a second place.
Simon took the chiplead into heads up play and for the final hand his pocket nines held against Durrrr's queen-six.
"Being a Leggo member has helped my game a lot," Simon said. "There isn't a chance I would of won this tournament if it wasn't for the Leggo vids I've watched over the last couple of years as they have helped my game a lot."
Congrats Simon!
