Within his first three months of playing poker 22-year-old Danny Isaacson had already accumulated a 5-figure bankroll, by playing $20 SNGs on Absolute Poker. As a senior at UCLA Danny plays mostly 2/4-5/10 HUNL, where he's played 2/4 and 3/6 for just the past several months and has only recently moved up to 5/10. However, within the next couple months Danny plans to move up again and take some shots at 10/20.
Before Danny found his niche in poker he was just one of the college students working a part time job at a golf course picking up the golf range, washing carts, etc. Even though he says the job wasn't that bad he was only getting paid $7/hr, which obviously doesn't offer many opportunities, but with poker he has gained enormous freedoms.
When Danny found poker in 2006 he was playing SNGs and had only won a few MTTs until he found poker training sites and eventually moved to cash games in July of 2007. Even as a student Danny has found time to study the game, which he says he does a lot of, but it has also interferred with the amount of hands he can play.
Overall, studying and the help of his long time coach Vishal(Jfiish on 2p2) has helped Danny improve his game over the past three years. Looking into his future Danny hopes to be living in Northern California and playing poker professionally. Coaching
