We've been here for a couple of days now and it's lots of fun.
Hard to describe it though because it's so unlike anywhere else I've been sofar.

I suggest anyone who has never been to go and see for them self what it's like. It's great seeing Matt and Jordan again. I'll just post some pictures mostly because I don't know where to start on telling everything that happened already.

Just got back two days ago from Mexico and am already packing for the next trip!
Leaving in about 2 hours for Thailand...

Got a small backpack forcing me to take very little which is what I wanted
Only problem is that in this trip we go from very hot thailand to pretty cold Japan to hot Dubai again...

Well I guess I'll just buy stuff there!

Not sure how much internet access I will have when I'm there but I guess we'll find out!

Just like you can read in Jeffs blog I thought it would be a good idea to recap the last two months since I'm leaving mexico at the end of this week!

It all started somewhere in September/October when Jeff drove to Mexico and asked me if I had interest of coming out in January. Poker wasn't going that well last year so I told him depending on the results I had until december I would either go or not go.

Results didn't come as I hoped but I figured that I should go anyway and told him to book the house and I would be there in january! Paying upfront for everything so I didn't have a way back and it's a good thing that I did that or else I might've not gone.

During that same time I also told Matt that I would visit him while he was in thailand (which is/was from january to march). However since I was already traveling so much and have always wanted to go to Japan I asked Oord (who I was going to Thailand with) if he wanted to add that to the trip and luckily he did. And the right before we booked our flights he said he wanted to stop in dubai to see the tallest tower in the world so we had to add that in also.


I hope to get my drivers license before I came out here but for some stupid weather issues in Holland that didn't really worked out as I liked. However, I have driven alot here in mexico because my GF is a pretty reckless driver and I feel alot better when I'm driving. Although I have developed a bunch of bad 'mexican' driving habits so I will probably have to take a couple lessons before I will pass my exam in holland.

Unfortunately did not manage to get a mexican license here but will be back here in the future to get one! Hopefully I will manage to get one in Vegas when I'm there also!

I don't really want to repeat to many of the things I've posted in my previous blogs and the last few weeks not much has been happening except that I've been spending most of my time with my new GF here. Have barely played poker because it was going horrible and I figured a break would be good. Will probably not play any poker until vegas because I don't plan to bring my laptop along for the next trip.

I apologize for the lack of updates and that the ones I did make where pretty useless but don't really feel like blogging lately. If you have any questions (about specific things in mexico/ next trip/ gf/ pictures you want to see/ anything) just sent me a pm or contact me by email

Has been a long time since my last blogpost, and still am suppose to post pictures from then.
I have just been really lazy with this, poker has gone bad which also doesn't put me in a mood to blog.

And have been spending every day with my new gf here which has been alot of fun
Just hanging out, watching some movies, going to the beach, going out to dinner and stuff.

Also been thinking a little more about what I want to do after all of this but going to let that boil in my head a little longer before I'm going to post that...

Don't really look forward to leaving mexico though, I like it here!

So yesterday I went to Adrian to play squash on his private court.
Apparently they have a fastball and slow ball here in mexico for playing squash and the slowball is the type of ball I'm used to play with (and which is the official ball in the netherlands) but he was used to playing with the fastball... so we started with that.. it went pretty even but I had a really hard time figuring out how the ball bounced off of the walls and stuff..

When we switched to the slowball it went much better and he didn't really have a chance However the floor was not made out of wood but some different type of material which was pretty slippery so it was hard to run alot...

Definately fun to play again but did get a blister on my hand since I haven't used a racket in a month and started off trying just to hardhit Will probably go do this a couple more times....

Jeff has still failed to sent me the pictures of last week and this week I barely took pictures.
Did go to the beach today with Karem, Kyle and Poalah. The beach was about an hour drive away and I drove about 75% of the trip and it makes me really like driving alot!

Also it might look like I can get a mexican license here because Adrian knows someone who works at the 'mexican dmv' and like most things in mexico if you pay you can get it.
There are apparently also some test you have to pass, but again, if you pay money you can skip those it looks like. Now to see if I can get a mexican passport also

Anyway, I know that my last few blogpost are very unlike my usual post because there are no pics or images or whatever but I'm definately going to start taking more pictures again and will bring my camera tonight.

To still include some thing for the non-readers... if you watched Big Bang theory you already know about the more advance rock-paper-scissors-lizard-spock... but this one is even better

The reason why I haven't blogged that much lately is that I don't really know what to blog about.
On feb 1st the other pokerhouse filled up with Reefypoopoo, Jordan and already Crispy and Kyle.
It's good that there are more people here now

Yesterday I also met a girl (Karem) who is awesome. She lets me drive her car all the time and I seem to love driving! Going to see if we can get me a mexican licence this week or next week!

She also has a friend (Adrian) who has his very own private squashcourt! So tonight we're going there and I'll be able to play squash again! Really looking forward to that! Hopefully I still know how to do that after not playing for a month And if Adrian is the same level as me (or better) I will probably see if I can go there like every other day!

I'm slowly starting to put more time and effort in the weightlosing bet so I'm going running today also (might not be the smartest thing ever because I'm also going to go squash later tonight but we'll see ).

There is one thing that is really really annoying about mexico and that's our internet, if that is fixed everything will be good again... trying to download the new lost episodes and it's going ridic slow!

I've been kindof lazy with blogging this last week... I keep putting it off to the next day. Looks like I'm getting the hang of the mexican Spirit

Tri + gf + bro have arrived and are here for a couple of days.
TooCrispy and theGrandMaster also arrived for their own pokerhouse.

We went to Cabo on Thursday and got back on Friday, got more ridic sunglasses...
Tonight going to Papas&beer which should be good and might end up chillin' the entire sunday.

Have a bunch of pics but will upload them later.

Also might have found a place I can play some squash here!!!
So hopefully that will actually happen so I can get more serious with the weightloss bet.

I've been jogging twice this week and it's very tiring sofar and after the first time I had sore muscles for about 3-4 days.. and went again today and am already feeling sore...

Don't think jogging is really my thing but we'll find out after I do it a couple more times

I finally booked my next trip.

I will arrive back in Amsterdam on March 3rd and will fly out on March 5th somewhere in the evening.

Me and Oord will fly to Bangkok, hopefully meeting Matt
Then at April 7th we fly to Tokyo, where we are still totaly unprepared for since we don't speak japanese and basically know nothing about how it will be like there
After 3 weeks we will fly to Dubai on April 30th to view the highest building in the world.



Supposedly it's more then twice as high as the empire state building And we've only heard good things about dubai so we added it to the trip

Then we will arrive back in Amsterdam on May 13.

Seems like a solid trip even though it might be smart to do some preperation since we (or at least I) know very little to nothing about the places we're going to!

I've been thinking about why I got sick because I didn't think it was the mexican food after all.
This week we've been swimming a bunch and the day before I got sick I went out pretty far in the ocean...

The beach we're at has two boeys which are decently far out and I've been to the first one a couple of times but there was a semi-strong current which made me hesitant to go to the second one..

But I thought well, I'm a decent swimmer so lets go for it, below is a picture of how it looked like



It took me probably about 15 mins to get there and 30 mins to get back and was honestly a little scared when I was swimming but wasn't moving at all.. and I might have swallowed some seawater in the process which might be the reason why I got sick!

Well live and learn, definately not swimming out to the second boey again... as you can see in the picture the current was pulling me not full out to the ocean but more to the right, so I could've probably gone to another beach if it was to strong...

But it definately was a little more dangerous then I thought.
